What does the Fly Team look like without Scott Forrester? That's the big question FBI: International must answer in Season 4 — and a reason so many fans are eager to see the CBS series return.
There's been quite a bit of turnover of international agents on the FBI Fly Team, including Jamie Kellett (Heida Reed), who left in the Season 3 premiere to return to the Washington, D.C. field office. But the Budapest, Hungary-based team suffered a major loss at the end of the season when their fearless leader Scott (Luke Kleintank) left the FBI entirely.
The Fly Team is likely to go through lots of changes in Season 4, including a new supervisory special agent (played by someone who is familiar with the Dick Wolf universe). Here, we discuss everything we know about FBI: International Season 4, such as when it will premiere, who will be starring in the season, and where you can get caught up on past episodes.

FBI: InternationalSeason 4 latest news
In late June, Variety reported that Jesse Lee Soffer would be joining FBI: International as a series regular in Season 4. Soffer played Detective Jay Halstead on Chicago P.D. for 10 seasons before leaving in 2022. Although both shows are created by Dick Wolf and even set in the same universe — Halstead's ex-wife Detective Hailey Upton (played by Tracy Spiridakos) guest starred on a Season 2 episode of FBI— Soffer will be playing a new character.
Soffer will be playing Supervisory Special Agent Wesley "Wes" Mitchell, according to TVLine. The new head of the Fly Team is "described as charming and rakish, an agent whose impeccable instincts and unconventional tactics fuel his drive to stop at nothing to achieve justice," the outlet reports.
FBI: InternationalSeason 4 release date
The fourth season of FBI: International will premiere on Tuesday, Oct. 15 at 10/9c on CBS.
That day is FBI night on CBS, with FBI Season 7 premiering at 8/7c and FBI: Most Wanted following at 9/8c. All three shows will be available to stream on Paramount+ the following day.
"The All-FBI Tuesday is a powerful force to be reckoned with on our primetime schedule," Amy Reisenbach, the president of CBS Entertainment, said in April when the three shows were renewed.
What will FBI: International Season 4 be about?
Aside from the details about Soffer's character, not much is known about FBI: International Season 4. We can assume that Wes will have to integrate and adapt to the Fly Team and vice versa. The team has grown accustomed to the way Scott does things and that change won't be easy. After all, they were only just getting adjusted to having Amanda Tate (Christina Wolfe) around.
As for Scott, the last we saw him, he was on the run with his mother, Angela Cassidy (Elizabeth Mitchell), who is a double agent for the U.S. and Russia. Although, that may be the last we'll see him; could he get a sendoff in the premiere like Reed's Jamie did? Or, at the very least will we get a status update on him and his mom?
As of publication, there is not yet an FBI: International Season 4 trailer.
Who will be in FBI: International Season 4?
Based on what has been shared by CBS so far, we can assume that the rest of the FBI: International main cast is returning for Season 4.
FBI: International main cast:
- Carter Redwood as Andre Raines
- Vinessa Vidotto as Cameron Vo
- Eva-Jane Willis as Megan "Smitty" Garretson
- Christina Wolfe as Amanda Tate
- Jesse Lee Soffer as Wesley "Wes" Mitchell
